MusicCheck allows to systematically compose a small melody in a 3 step process:
1. Specify up to 16 chords allowed in your melody.
2. Choose a rhythmic pattern for your melody.
3. Finally select groups of notes you want to vary.
In the final step MusicCheck just passes through all possibilities, for example with 10 chords and 6 groups there are 1000000 different possibilities.
You can also record small melodies and use the app to more or less random generate variations.
Moreover a simulated turntable lets you control the playback of your midi data.
